Kindergarten Teacher

Beth Garcia is a wife and mother of 3. She is one of the founders, directors, and teachers at Arise Christian Academy kindergarten teacher.

Mrs. Garcia attends United City Tucson and serves with her husband & family as Assistant Pastors and Youth Pastors.
Mrs. Garcia is a certified elementary teacher with 15+ years of experience in public, private, and micro-schools. She is certified in Orton-Gillingham reading support.

3rd Grade Teacher

Allison Estrada is a wife and mother of two daughters. She is one of the founders, directors, and teachers at Arise Christian Academy.

Mrs. Estrada attends MyChurch Sahuarita, along with her family.

Mrs. Estrada is a certified elementary teacher with a Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction and over 16 years of experience in classroom teaching, curriculum and professional development, and assessment writing. Her endeavors include public, charter, homeschool, specialized STEM programs, and micro-schools.

“Arise Christian Academy is the product of obedience to the call God has had on my life since I was a little girl in my mother’s kindergarten class. My parents taught me above all things to have faith, trust in the Lord and be obedient to His call. I can not wait to pass on this legacy not only to my own children, but to others in the amazing communities of Sahuarita  and Green Valley.”

1st / 2nd grade Combo Teacher

Christina Ross is a wife and mother to 1 son. She listened to God’s calling and left public school teaching to join the Arise Team.  

Mrs. Ross attends MyChurch Sahuarita where she’s served in the children’s and women’s ministry and actively participates in discipleship and small group.

Mrs. Ross is a certified elementary teacher with 10+ years of experience teaching grades Kindergarten-3rd.

“Joining Arise was a journey God set before me before I even knew I needed or wanted it. In March He put a stirring in my heart that I was in the wrong place. After 10 years of being a teacher, I quit my public school job. I had no plan and no other jobs lined up. The only thing I knew without a doubt was that God was in control! It has been nothing short of amazing watching His plan in action! I am humbled and so blessed to have this opportunity to be a Kingdom builder with Arise doing exactly what God called me to do, be a teacher for His glory!”

Admin Assistant

Stephanie McDuffy is a wife and mother of 3 daughters. She answered the call to join the Arise Team as our Administrative Assistant.

Mrs. McDuffy attends Common Ground Church Sahuarita where she co-leads the lady’s ministry. She helps in the nursery and is part of small groups.

Mrs. McDuffy worked as an office assistant at a Christian high school and was also a court bailiff. For the last year, Mrs. McDuffy has been a stay-at-home mom while studying for her law degree. She graduating from the University of Arizona this December.  

“Arise was an answer to prayer. I prayed there would be a Christian school local to where my family and I live, so that my kids could have the opportunity at receiving a Christian education. I am honored that God has allowed me a position at Arise to just be a little part in His kingdom work.”
